Okay, this one is obvious, but the perfect number of pillows depends on the person. If throw pillows are constantly thrown on the floor, maybe consider owning less. If you’re the type to snuggle into a lot of pillows, more is better. A larger piece of furniture, like a sectional, will benefit from more pillows as it has more surface area to cover.
This rule applies to blankets as well. Add as many as you feel comfortable with. But just remember, blankets take a little more work when tidying up, so consider how many blankets you’d like to fold at the end of the day.

Choose a variety of sizes and shapes for the ultimate pillow combination. Don’t forget to add in another shape as well, like a bolster size, or round. The more variety the better.
