When people go those extra miles to visit us, they'll find that we at Wiens are eager to go the extra mile for them. A 20-minute drive south of Winnipeg through open prairie brings one to the thriving town of Niverville, and home of Wiens Furniture.

Wiens Furniture is a family owned and operated business. The Wiens family has been in business serving Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba since 1939. Our store showcases a 20,000 square foot appliance, furniture, and mattress showroom.

On June 20, 2017, we unveiled our new and innovative 5,000 square foot Appliance addition. This contemporary showroom is spacious, welcoming and inspiring. It features polished concrete floors, an industrial open and wood-beam ceiling, wonderful lighting and stunning displays. We showcase several premium appliance brands such as JennAir, Thermador, Bosch, Monogram, Sub-Zero & Wolf, as well as many other well-known and sought-after mainstream brands. Approximately 80% of our appliances in our showroom are in some way powered up. This means our clients can visualize not just how they would look in the home but also experience how they would function.

On September 24, 2019, we celebrated the completed renovation of the furniture area of our showroom. The dropped ceiling was removed, along with partitions, to create a more open and inviting space. Suspended LED track lights have replaced the dated fluorescent bulbs, providing a warm atmosphere much closer to the modern living spaces common to today’s homes. The flooring, too, has been removed, exposing beautiful polished concrete.

Upon news of the renovation, Wiens Furniture was hand-selected by Winnipeg-built Palliser Furniture to be one of their largest galleries in western Canada. The floor plan also has dedicated space for companies such as Canadel, Amisco, and Decor-Rest, just to name a few. Furniture has been thoughtfully displayed to provide customers the full effect of how a set might appear in their own home. The new showroom integrates in-store retail with endless aisle shopping through the use of interactive touch screen monitors. This provides customers the opportunity to customize their potential purchase to see a full rendering of what the final product will look like.

The new mattress gallery showcases a wide variety of beds and sleep accessories; there are over two dozen mattresses being showcased including brands like Zedbed, Tempur-Pedic, ConceptZZZ, and Sealy.
