Yes, these units can produce heat or if you want just the flame without heat, you can choose that option too.

Jacob Entertainment Unit
This contemporary unit features a beautiful charcoal finish on solid maple, two glass doors with adjustable shelves, and beautiful brushed silver pull handles.
Harper Entertainment Unit
The Harper is a contemporary piece that features a warm brown finish that goes with everything! We love the brushed nickel pulls, and glass doors with adjustable shelves.
Wesley Entertainment Unit
The Wesley entertainment unit has a slate finish and is crafted from solid pine. This one has a rustic yet contemporary feel and has matte black handles.

Firebox Inserts
All of these designs can be used with or without firebox inserts (though we highly recommend them!) The extra heat that it brings to a room is perfect in cooler temperatures.
The firebox inserts are manufactured by Dimplex, a popular brand known for their quality electric fireplaces and heating solutions. Some of these models have an option of the traditional log look, or you can choose a crushed acrylic ember look (a more contemporary style).
