A lot us have loaded dishes into a dishwasher a hundred times but are you loading it properly? Today, we're giving you tips and tricks on how to use that precious space wisely.
No more confusion, re-washing dishes, or fights with your partner! Guaranteed! (Just kidding!)
1. Don't Rinse!
The most common mistake is that people rinse their dishes! Don't pre-rinse! The detergent needs something to hold on to. We do recommend scraping any large food particles off.
2. Large Items Go In the Bottom!
Dinner plates, large bowls, pots, and pans go on the bottom rack. We recommend placing these items at an angle for a better clean.

3. Don't Overlap!
Don't overlap your items; also known as nesting. If your dishes or cutlery are stuck together, they can't get a proper clean.
4. Heads Up!
Load cutlery heads up! If your cutlery is placed down, the food particles will run down into the head of your fork and spoon, which is where we eat from! The only exception is knives and sharp items should be placed down for safety reasons. Some Bosch dishwashers, like this one, have a secondary cutlery tray (the MyWay Rack) at the very top of the dishwasher; perfect for extra cutlery and big utensils.

5. Put Plastics in Top Rack!
Plastics like Tupperware should go on the top rack because it has a gentler spray of water, therefore, it has a less likely chance of blowing around.

6. Beware of Glassware!
All glassware should go on the top rack. Check to make sure your stemmed glassware is dishwasher safe before washing. Place wine glasses at an angle because you don't want water pooling on top of the base.
